Here is Daniel Fay Hunt Sr,
the pioneer who brought the family from Vermont to the wilds
of Western New York. The photograph is of an unknown date and
photographer, but probably comes from the 1860's.
The image below is taken from
the Lewis Family Book by Barbara Thesing of California. Her family
has a set of letters and documents handed down through generations
of the Lewis Family which contains information on the Hunts.
Mrs. Thesing's work also includes research on the Hunt , Lewis,
Grow, and other families.
