The images we carry in our memories of our grandparents are shaped by the time in their lives in which we knew them best. Although many may remember a younger Grandma and Grandpa Allen, these photographs capture well the Grandparents we knew in the 1960's. All the images on this page have dates from the 1960's on them. |
| We all remember the cozy home they had on Huffer Road next to Uncle Art and Aunt Bernie. This shot of Grandpa with his pipe was taken in the living room. Although I can't remember the Cats name, she loved to play with rolled up papers. She (he?) was quite good at "batting" it in the air when you pitched it to her/him. This photograph is dated December 21, 1968. |
