Finding this obituary gave us the evidence we needed to confirm the identity of Joseph Smith's parents. We feel the listing of "Mrs Br. Bradley...and Joseph and John Smith" proves that Valentine Schmidt and Anna Marie Schmidt were our Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandparents! One sad note - she died on Thanksgiving Day, which was held on Sunday, Nov 21st.

"Recent Deaths Mrs. Anna M Smith of No 25 Hudson Park, died Sunday morning, aged 77 years. She leaves three daughers, Mrs. John Fricker, Mrs. Carrie Bills, and Mrs Dr. Bradley, and two sons, Joseph and John Smith.
