Here is the obituary of Elizabeth Blekkenk
- wife of John H. Blekkenk. The information provides some addition
information on the Blekkenk girls, but is most interesting for
an omission - where is the oldest son Abraham Blekkenk? Was there
some family tension that had estranged Abraham and his sisters?

"Blekkenk-At the residence of her
daughter, Mrs Charles Maynard, No 178 Campbell Park, Sunday morning,
July 4, 1920. Mrs. Elizabeth Blekkenk, widow of John Blekkenk
aged 83 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret
Maynard and Mrs Charles Richards, fifteen grandchildren and eleven
great grandchildren. - Funeral Services at the residence, Tuesday
afternoon, July 6th, at 2 o'click. Internment at Mt. Hope Cemetery"
