Louis Robert Smith was the only son of Joseph and Ida Smith. Margaret Cook remembered him as "Uncle Lou" - she was only nine years old when he died. The proximity of his death to that of his Father must have had a great impact on the Smith Family - in more ways than one. As far as our research can tell, he was the last of the "Smith line" - there were no other males to pass on the family name.
