Grace Smith was born in 1878 in Rochester New York, the second child of Joseph and Ida (Tietenberg) Smith. She married Leon Hunt Allen in November of 1897 and had two childred, Arthur and Charles Allen. This formal studio photograph has no date, but has the script "To The One I Love" on the back.

Grace loved to travel and reportedly met Tom McAllister in Bermuda. A label on the back of this undated photograph reads
"Do you know this fatty?" |

This photograph, like those above is also undated. It comes from a real photo postcard whose stamp box indicates it was made post-1927. Grace Smith McAllister died in 1960. She is buried in the Smith plot in Holy Sepulchre in Rochester NY. For more information on her family, see the Smith Line and the Allen Line. |
