The Roberts line, like some many of our other ancestral lines, leads back to Colonial New England and then across the Atlantic to England. At this time in the research, the first of our Roberts was Robert Roberts, who arrived in Massachusetts Bay about 25 years after Plymouth Colony was established. You will find among the names "Ebenezer" including that of my sixth Great Grandfather, who took his family to Maine. His given name would be handed down into the Allen line.
