The same photograph showing Joseph and Ida Smith with one of their daughters (shown above) was also found in the scrapbook belonging to the family of Ida Smith Tyler. The two images shown here also were found on that same scrapbook page.

It appears that the three photographs were taken the same day, on the occasion of a railroad journey by their daughter.

The photo to the right shows Ida and Joseph in the same clothing as they had when posed with their daughter. They are carrying packages which may soon be on their way with their daughter.

This interesting image was, we think, taken the same time, perhaps even by Ida or Joseph Smith. With the Smith girl on the tracks, it certainly looks like this was going to be a long or special trip. Her smile seems to show her excitement over her adventure.

Which of the Smith girls was it? When was it? Where did she go? Hopefully we will find out some day!
